Holdan has launched a Wi-Fi teleprompting system that lets users send scripts to screens from a central PC.

Based on the Teradek Cube mini encoder, the system uses an IntraTec Bridge Wi-Fi transmitter.

Scripts produced on a PC or laptop are streamed to an iPad-based prompter running the free TeraCentral app.

“This type of distributed teleprompting system used to only be for broadcast TV studios.

“Now web studios, video studios and local TV stations can liberate their presenters from being tied to a single prompter,” said Holdan technical development manager Richard Payne.
