Objective Media Group (OMG) has reunited with The Traitors indie IDTV to produce a psychological experiment format.

Little is being revealed about the show, dubbed The Unknown, with All3Media stablemates, the Netherlands-based IDTV and OMG planning UK and US versions.

They are meeting with a number of US networks before All3Media International launches it at Mipcom next month.

The companies have previously worked together on gameshow Lingo, which IDTV controls the rights to and co-produces with OMG for ITV and CBS.

IDTV is also behind the original version of social experiment series The Traitors, which has been adapted 11 times, with a version currently in production for BBC1 and NBCUniversal via Studio Lambert.

“IDTV is focused on the development and realisation of new psychological adventure reality formats,” said the indie’s chief executive Marc Pos.

We wanted to work with OMG because of their international experience and like-minded approach to making good content.”

OMG chief exec Layla Smith called The Unknown a “truly unique and exciting format.”

CAA is representing the project in the US.
