The Graham Norton Show will now stream compilations on Spotify

ITV Studios’ digital label Zoo 55 has sealed a content partnership with Spotify, which will see the super-indie’s content heading to the audio streamer for the first time.

The deal, which will see episodes and compilations of shows like The Graham Norton Show and I Was a Teenage Felon become available to Spotify users, marks a continued expansion into video offerings on the platform as it looks to reach new audiences.

Besides So Television-produced BBC1 series The Graham Norton Show and Vice TV’s I was a Teenage Felon, Spotify will also stream reality series Dead Set on Life starring Matty Matheson, also from Vice TV.

Spotify’s managing director of Northern Europe Chris Whiteley said: “ITV Studios bringing such high-quality, popular video programming to our platform allows us to further enhance the user experience and provides our audience with even more reasons to engage with Spotify.”

He added it is “a testament to the growing appeal of video on our platform and our ability to connect leading content creators with millions of listeners and viewers.”

Zoo 55 chief operating officer Graham Haigh added: “As vodcasts boom, these titles shine in both video and audio – and this is just the start of what we’ll bring to our fans on Spotify.”
