Competing for the Best Television campaign are also Channel 4's Make Me Normal, Five's CSI New York, History Channel and Biography's The History Channel (Know the Story), BBC Wales's Scrum 4; Six Nations 2005 and BBC Broadcast's Cancer Season.
BBC Broadcast is staking a claim in two categories. Its Comedy Double, Pedigree Comedy - Catherine Tate and Smoking Room Christmas Special promos are nominated for Best Entertainment or Comedy Promo - Originated, up against BBC/Fallon's Glastonbury, E4's EPOD Generic and FilmFour's Comedy Season.
It also boasts three of its promos in the Best Factual or Factual Entertainment Promo ' Originated category. V for Victory, Monastery and Inside the Nazi State are gunning against AMV/BBC's Auschwitz and Channel 4's double offering of Jamie School Dinners and Political Awards.
In the Best On-Air Branding category, C4's celebrated idents are up against E4's ESPEAK Granny, Five's CSI New York and Loch Ness - Ultimate Experiment, MTV Networks Europe's Sonic Idents and BBC Broadcast's Blobverts.
Meanwhile, battling it out in the Best Editing category are BBC Broadcast's Conviction, Channel 4's The Simpsons, E4's ER Launch, Five's CSI: New York and ITV Network Promotions' The Boat Race 2005.
The Best Use of Humour category sees Five's Terminator 3 The Rise of the Machines take on E4's EPOD Generic, Devilfish's double offering of Five ' The Farm Sponsorship and The History Channel ' Football, Channel 4's WG Grace and Sci Fi Channel Europe's Zombiethon.
The awards, which celebrate talent in the promotions industry, are being at the Grosvenor House Hotel and will be hosted by Graham Norton.
