The show explores the British coastline using CGI to recreate historic events, such as the building of the Titanic and Britannia Bridge. Creative director Jan Golunski and designer Paul Clements designed and composited elements using Smoke, Combustion and Hal Express. 3D animators Andy Budd and Ricky Spence used programmes including Maya and Digital Fusion to produce photo-real 3D components and animations. The 13 x 60-minute series starts on BBC2 on Friday (22 July) at 9pm.
