The London Studios has installed an Omneon MediaGrid storage system as part of its move to a tapeless workflow.
It means HD video clips recorded in the studio are transferred to post-production along with low resolution proxy versions.
Chris Cook, director of engineering support at The London Studios, said: “We’ve cut out the expense of buying HD tape and running tape decks.”
