Magic Lantern has developed the online component to BBC dramas Party Animalsand Life on Mars, working closely with their producers, World Productions and Kudos Film and Television.

For World Productions, it created the scripts and plotlines for the Party Animalssite at www.villagevermin.co.uk. The site ties into the TV storylines, and is part political blog, part Popbitch for the Westminster village. Magic Lantern used BBC archive video footage from the 1970s for Life on Marsto explore the differences between 1973 and present day life. The site also contains clips from both series of Life on Mars.
