The rental division of McMillan has bought four of the BBC's new WiScape Digital Radio Cameras (DRCs). The cameras, which retail for about£36,000, will be used for outside broadcast, sport and corporate events for clients like STV and Carlton. Business development director at McMillan Angus Knight said the DRCs are the "best in their breed". The company will be hiring them for£525 a day, including the use of the higher frequency radio wave channels the system needs.
