Molinare has hired Dolores McGinley to lead its VFX department in the newly created role of creative director.

McGinley joins Molinare from Technicolor where for the past six years she has been lead senior VFX designer

Her recent credits include Black Mirror and Poldark as well as titles design across a number of series. 

Prior to joining Technicolor McGinley was senior designer at the now defunct Pepper Post. 

Molinare said its VFX team would be bolstered further by senior online editor Gareth Parry specialising as a Flame artist. In his new role he will continue to work across Molinare’s UHD picture post production and complex shot requirements.

Molinare said it currently has three 4K and UHD series in finishing post. 

Molinare commercial director Richard Hobbs said: “Dolores joins our already successful VFX team as we look to build upon our good work and increase our VFX offering. 

“Her work speaks for itself and we are delighted she is joining us as she is so highly regarded throughout the industry.”

“Molinare have such fantastic creative talent and I am really excited about joining them to lead the VFX department.”

McGinley joins Molinare on the 1 June.
