MPs have called for the organisers of the India 2010 Commonwealth Games to settle the “millions” of pounds yet to be paid to SIS LIVE, which provided OB facilities for the event.

During a debate in the House of Commons, MP Virendra Sharma said: “India cannot afford to ‘play politics’ with the reputations of companies such as SIS LIVE.”

In June, David Holdgate, chief executive of SIS LIVE’s parent company SIS, told Broadcast the firm had been “caught in the crossfire” of political in-fighting in India.
