Oasis Television has finished The Making of Sheila Quigley for Shine Productions. Film-maker Chris Terrill spent a year following Sheila Quigley, a grandmother from County Durham, to see how her life changed after receiving a£300,000 advance for her first novel, Run for Home. Oasis online editor Thomas Ioannou, colourist David Smith and audio mixer Hugh Mitchell-Dawson all contributed to the 50-minute documentary. The Making of Sheila Quigley airs on 12 August on BBC1 at 11.35pm.
