HDS directors closed the facility on Thursday (29 April) and administrators Douglas MacDonald and KPMG may now look to sell the troubled business, which is said to be worth around £5m. The studio has around 12 full-time staff who have been retained so far. The Born and Bred production team, who have lost four days' filming, is now working out of Shepperton Studios. A KPMG source said it was in talks with the BBC about letting the production team into HDS to retrieve its equipment and set. No one at HDS was available for comment.
