Red Bee Media has signed a deal to look after the production, publication and distribution of Swedish broadcaster TV4 Group’s listings and programme information.

The agreement between the TV4 Group and Red Bee includes supplying listings and programme information in text format and images for the TV4 Group’s channels, including both TV4 channels and Canal+ channels.

The information will also be distributed to platforms such as EPG, TV listings in newspapers and magazines.

Bill Patrizio, Red Bee Media chief executive, said: “Metadata is a key strategic area of growth and innovation for Red Bee, and this partnership with TV4 gives us an exciting opportunity to build on our existing business in Scandinavia.”

The deal will run from December 2011.
