Red has added the Scarlet-W to its range of Dragon cameras.
The camera offers simultaneous Redcode Raw and Apple ProRes recording, an intelligent OLPF system and in-camera 3D LUT outputs with a Red Dragon sensor.
It can capture 5K footage at 50fps, 4K at 150fps or 2K at 300fps when shooting Redcode Raw.
Red expects to begin shipping the Scarlet-W in February.
Options include a ‘Brain only’ package, with either a colour or black and white sensor
The Base I/O V-Lock package, which also includes a 4.7-inch LCD display, 120GB Red Mini Mag, DSMC Al Canon mount and a power adapter will cost £10,450
Current Scarlet Dragon owners are eligible to receive a $2,500 (£1,650) discount on the Scarlet-W Base I/O V-Lock Package price.
