Content processing and digital media services firm re:fine has unveiled re:io, a web-based content processing platform for the delivery of AS-11 compliant files.

The platform, which has been unveiled ahead of the Digital Production Partnership-led move away from tape-based delivery of programmes, is part of re:fine’s wider efforts to make its internal systems and workflows available as an online service.

Re:io is being pitched at production companies with in-house facilities, post firms spread across multiple sites or in need of extra capacity and distributors.

It uses Telestream’s Vantage transcoding and workflow tools, Vidcheck’s Vidchecker QC system, Emotion Systems’ EFF Enterprise loudness software and Aspera delivery software.

Re:fine said a 30-minute programme will cost from £140 for upload, photo-sensitive epilepsy check, audio loudness measurement, file QC, AQC report, metadata check, five-point human QC, delivery and file download.
