Wimbledon-based company Any Effects was responsible for the dramatic helicopter crash seen on Mersey Television's soon-to-be-axed soap Brookside earlier this week. Dubbed by producer Nicky Higgens as 'the most ambitious sequence ever attempted by a soap' the stunt involved a full-size model helicopter built by Any Effects crashing into the Brookside petrol station and crushing a car in the process.
