Soho Editors Training has joined Avid’s Learning Partner programme.

Soho Editors Training managing director Brian Cantwell sealed the deal with Avid’s training manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa Tim Mynett at this year’s IBC trade show in Amsterdam.

Soho Editors Training will offer the Avid MC101 and MC201 courses with a new program of courses to coincide with the release of Media Composer 6 later this year.

Cantwell said: “Avid has been a leading manufacturer of post production software for years and Soho Editors have also been delivering Avid courses for several years, so it’s great to get the recognition that comes with becoming Avid-authorised”.

Avid’s Learning Partner program is designed for training companies, corporations, universities or other educational institutions that provide training on Avid products.
