Shoreditch post firm Splice has acquired Air Post Production.

The 8,000 sq ft Air Post premises house 18 offline suites, online, grading and audio facilities.

Splice co-founder Duncan Western (pictured, left) said: “This is a huge opportunity for Splice and a great leap forward for the business.

“By acquiring Air Post Production we will be able to secure further business from local clients, at the same time as attracting higher end factual entertainment and drama productions.”

Some of Air Post’s credits include Chef Race for BBC America and Battlefront for Channel 4.

Splice now plans to give Air Post a technical overhaul, new meeting rooms, viewing rooms, a bar and a café.

Air founder Richard Boote added: “I am very pleased to have sold Air Post Production to Splice. It’s a great facility and I am confident that under Splice’s ownership Air Post Production will go from strength to strength.”
