IBC 2015: TC Electric has announced a new version of its aNorm next-generation adaptive loudness normalisation. The new version of aNorm is available for Loudness Pilot, the stereo incarnation of its flagship DB6 platform.

aNorm aims to keep dynamics processing at a minimum by normalising the signal intelligently with aNorm applying dynamic processing only if normalisation alone is not enough to hit loudness and LRA targets.

aNorm’s Butterfly Meter shows pre and post loudness normalisation and is an integrated part of the aNorm algorithm.
