Technicolor Creative Services London has upgraded its Digital Intermediate (DI) capabilities with the addition of a full stereo 3D workflow for film and TV projects.

The move sees the company pick up a BaseLight 4 grading system and a Baselight Assist with additional shared local storage and a full set of stereo 3D tools.

The kit will be added to three existing DI theatres at its Lexington Street facility in Soho.

A BaseLight Kompressor has also been added for real-time handling of multiple RAW formats such as Red and SI2k as well as Avid integration and encoding.

A Blackboard control panel will be used for large projection theatre grading along with RealD projection on its premier sized silver screen.

Both active and passive displays will be made available for viewing 3D video deliverables and pre-grade stereo correction.
