The Machine Room has bagged an exclusive DVD production deal with Film Four that will result in the facility producing 12-plus titles this year compared with four last year. The firm has also made its first move into non-linear editing with the purchase of Discreet's high definition (HD) Smoke 5 and has also upgraded its Shadow telecine to HD.
