Twofour upgrades in-house audio facilities

The Devon-based facility has added an Avid S6 control surface. The 24-fader console has been installed in one of the facility’s three Pro Tools mix rooms by HHB Scrub. 

The kit will be used for Channel 4’s Royal Navy Sailor School and for Ibiza Weekender for ITV2.

Twofour head of audio Jeremy Lock said: “With the increase in Twofour’s fixed-rig shows passing through our Plymouth facility, sessions are becoming more complex with an ever growing track count, due to the large numbers of microphones being recorded on location. 

“The S6’s ability to customise the work surface at the touch of a button within a session and the amount of visual feedback the user gets, is invaluable when navigating these larger projects.”
