UK Screen has teamed up with Westminster Council to launch a series of management courses for small and medium-sized businesses based in the borough of Westminster.

The courses will include content on people management, finance, dealing with difficult people and customer relationship management.

They will be delivered over a two month period by trainers from Creative People and hosted by UK Screen sponsor chartered accountants Wingrave Yeats.

The programme has been developed with partnership funding from Creative Westminster, Westminster Council’s programme which was established to promote creative companies within the borough.

UK Screen is also working with Creative Westminster to provide bursary funding to support overseas trade activity.

Acting chief executive at UK Screen Sarah Mackey said: “It’s wonderful that Creative Westminster is supporting smaller creative companies in this manner.

“We want our members to lead the way in excellent management and commercial skills as well as through superb creative services and we are delighted that Westminster Council recognises the importance of the facilities sector to the creative industries and the wider economy.”
