London-based training provider VET is teaming up with Brighton’s BTV Post to run a series of stereoscopic 3D skills sessions.

Topics will include budgeting, post workflows and jargon busting. Editing, camera and file management will also be covered.

The two companies hope that the partnership will help to quickly address the current shortage of stereoscopic 3D awareness and skills in the UK.

VET business development manager Terry Smith said: “Our goal for 2010 had always been to significantly contribute to building the 3D workforce in the UK and it’s great to be doing this with a company that shares this vision and commitment.”

The first ‘overview’ session will take place on 23 April at VET in Shoreditch.

BTV Post was previously known as Brighton TV.
