Interactive TV specialist Two Way TV has signed up with broadcaster and channel distributor Zone Vision Networks to provide software which could boost mobile revenues for MTV and Discovery across Europe. Zone Vision last week signed a deal to become Two Way TV's agent for its Simcast technology across the growing eastern Europe market. Zone Vision is owned by Chellomedia - part of Liberty Global - and represents over 30 international channels including MTV, Discovery and CNN which reach over 60 million subscribers. The Simcast technology lets broadcasters create alternate revenue streams through interactive games and call TV. Zone Vision will take a cut of everything that Two Way TV earns from sales across eastern Europe, Russia and the former Soviet Bloc countries.
