Brief Design a brand, title plate and stings for the six-part Michel Roux Jr-fronted series, which is an update on the classic 1970s show.

How it was done Designer Graham Watts combined classic clear typography with a more decorative ampersand to create the logo.

He then used the ampersand as a standalone symbol that appeared in six scenarios, including chocolate sprinkled through a template and a casserole lid with the ampersand cut into it.

These sequences were shot in close-up using a table-top dolly and a Canon 5D with fast prime lenses to give the required depth of field and rich colours.

As far as possible, the sequence was shot in-camera in a bid to create a filmic style.

All of the compositing and design work was completed in After Effects.
