NAB 2012: Grass Valley will demonstrate the latest version of Edius v6.5 at NAB.

The new version has a comprehensive 3D editing workflow and native sport for raw footage from Red cameras.

Edius 6.5 also incorporates a new Flash exporter, improvements to the Layouter tool, native image stabilisation, built-in loudness meter and closed caption and audio bit stream (Dolby-E, AC-3) pass-through support.

With a software upgrade, Grass Valley K2 Summit production clients and K2 Solo HD/SD servers can be used as a 3D production server for 3D recording or replay, a 2X or 3X super slow motion recording device, or as a server for recording from two to six simultaneous camera angles with at least one channel for playback.
