Light Illusion has added an ACES toolset to its LightSpace colour management system.

LightSpace CMS with ACES capability has been designed to provide facility-wide single colour space management from a system that is display, format and workflow agnostic.

The ACES workflow, which has been developed by the Science and Technology Council of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, aims to deliver a single post-production workflow that keeps production assets at the highest possible quality.

Light Illusion is also releasing a selection of new JamTools capabilities, adding to the Alexicc and JamSync systems.

JamTools additions include GoProFuze, a product that enables the logging and transcoding of GoPro footage into MXF or Pro Res for use in Avid Media Composer and Final Cut Pro.

AutoAlexicc is a new product which builds on the existing Alexicc system, using the inbuilt metadata within Alexa image files to automatically select the required look during transcoding, matching any ‘looks’ defined on-set by the DoP.
