The Technicolor group’s revenues rose significantly in the third quarter of its 2016 financial year, with its Production Services division playing a major role.

Overall, income rose from €877m (£784m) to €1.14bn (£1.02bn) this year, with revenues for visual effects and post-production work contributing €185m (£165m), up 36%.

VFX for advertising played a key role, with other VFX and animation activities recording “outstanding sales performance”.
