Pyser-SGI has taken delivery of Fujinon’s ZK4.7x19 PL mount zoom lens.
The lens features a detachable servo drive unit and can be used as a standard PL lens for cine-style operations or as an ENG broadcast lens.
All the launch stock ordered for the Fujinon operation in the US sold out at NAB, and other worldwide orders are being taken for months ahead.
Pyser-SGI divisional head for broadcast Paul Goodwin described it as “probably the most successful launch of a new lens in Fujinon’s history”.
