Red Bee Media has commissioned an industry-wide survey to examine the future of media and the impact of new technologies, changing consumer behaviours and evolving business models.

The programme, titled Tomorrow Calling and conducted with consultancy firm MTM London, will involve a series of think tanks, quantitative and qualitative research, one-to-one interviews, live panel debates and white papers.

It will culminate in a full report to be published in 2012.

The first panel debate will take place on Tuesday 27 September in London and will be chaired by media commentator and BBC NewsWatch presenter, Raymond Snoddy.

Red Bee Media chief executive Bill Patrizio said: “The media industry continues to go through dramatic changes bringing both extraordinary opportunities and risk.

“Disruptive technologies across platforms and devices are fuelling these changes, and are levelling the playing field for new and established media businesses”
