SIS LIVE is putting its product hardware development and manufacturing division up for sale.
The 10-person department makes vehicle mounted/flyaway antennas, VSAT terminals, tripod antennas, fibre transport systems and portable production units.
It accounts for less than 5% of the company’s revenues.
SIS LIVE will instead invest in more fibre infrastructure and both UHD and hybrid uplink trucks.
A spokesperson told Broadcast: “The products are no longer core for our vision of becoming the connectivity provider of choice for critical media content.
“We are hoping that the sale will include the staff.”
