Brief Provide location and post-production services for the fourth series of the quiz that pits contestants against a penny falls-style machine.
How it was done Evolutions’ locations team designed a system that recorded eight streams and audio for instantaneous playback to the gallery.
It also provided non-linear tools and other tapeless playback systems, such as slow motion and the ability to cue and play back from any timecode.
LTO versions were generated each day, with the on-site operator creating Avid projects for use at the facility each night.
Dubbing mixer Richard Ashley used Pro Tools for the final audio mix, finessing effects where necessary and returning to the original ISO tracks for the contestants, as well as enhancing the coin drops with a metallic sound to emphasise the action.
