Leeds-based production company True North has installed a “gamechanging” fibre-optic broadband connection.

The 100Mbps connection was installed following a £3,000 award from Superconnected Leeds Bradford as part of a government initiative to help small- and medium-sized enterprises gain access to high-speed internet services. True North managing director Marc Allen said the company had previously struggled with file-based delivery. “We’re now on the Sohonet digital network and able to deliver programmes to broadcasters professionally,” he added.
