Siggraph 2016: Assimilate has updated its Scratch post-production system, adding new stereo 3D workflow capabilities and support for high dynamic Range (HDR).

New features in version 8.5 include a manage stereo tool, a stereo generator to output multiple different stereo versions in a single batch, improved XAVC processing and support for the Arri Alexa Mini camera and MXF Raw.

For HDR the developers have made it quicker to apply a PQ transfer function to a primary or secondary reference colour output.
