Billy Parks becomes head of Fox Creator Studios (FCS) and is tasked with partnering with “culturally relevant” talent to create scalable formats that can travel across linear, streaming and digital.

He reports into Fox Entertainment chief exec Rob Wade and joins having most recently been a partner at US-based investment firm Slow Ventures Creator Fund.

Before that he held roles at digital firms Fullscreen, Astronauts Wanted and Otter Media, having left his Chernin Group role in 2014 before returning to as an operating partner.

“Fox Creator Studios represents a fundamental evolution in how we work with today’s most dynamic storytellers, bridging the gap between Hollywood and the rapidly expanding creator economy,” Wade said.

“Billy has built his career at the forefront of creator-driven media, blending creative instinct with investment and operational expertise. He understands that today’s creators are founders and brand builders, and he knows how to scale their ideas into enduring businesses.

“As we expand our digital ecosystem, we want to empower creators to bring their dreams to life, and Billy is the ideal leader to drive that effort.”

Parks added that the “goal is to meet creators where they are, respect what they’ve already built and help them grow, whether that means launching a new format, expanding into new verticals or scaling their brand across platforms.

“We want to be a place that understands their needs and helps turn momentum into enduring storytelling and entertainment brands,” he added.

Parks’ appointment marks the latest development for FCS, which was launched at the start of 2026 and aims to accelerate the development of original digital IP across all verticals.

The division is initially focused on food-centric talent, including partnerships with Gordon Ramsay through Studio Ramsay Global, Rosanna Pansino, Jolly, Sorted Food, The Food Theorists and Little Remy Food. IP will be developed in-house and distributed globally via Fox’s platforms and its distribution arm.

The strategy is part of Fox Entertainment’s broader digital strategy, which has seen it invest in vertical video firm Holywater, experiential storytelling outfit Chain, podcast outfit Meet Cute and sibling HarperCollins Publishing. The company also struck a deal with YouTube star Dhar Mann in January.
