Niki Page to work across scripted and unscripted deals at Bell Media-backed company
Sphere Abacus has appointed Niki Page from AI production company Deep Fusion to work across acquisitions.

Page takes the newly created role of acquisitions manager at the Bell Media-owned company, with a remit across scripted and unscripted.
She will work alongside global content director, Will Stapley and joins having most recently been senior vice president of commercial at Deep Fusion.
Page has previously held senior roles at Sky, Fremantle, Channel 4, and Seven. One (fka Red Arrow Studios), working on shows ranging from Jamie Oliver, Don’t Tell the Bride and Chateau DIY, to The Wine Show and the podcast Virtually Parkinson.
Stapley said: “I’m delighted that Niki has joined us at this exciting time of growth for Sphere Abacus. She brings with her a wealth of experience, knowledge and strong producer relationships that will help us continue to build on the quality and quantity of new unscripted and scripted projects in our catalogue.”
Page added: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Sphere Abacus. It’s a fantastic company with an incredibly talented team and an impressive catalogue, and I’m excited to be part of it and to bring my experience, relationships and passion for great content to the business.”
The appointment comes two days after Sphere Abacus bought Matthew Frank’s Rights Booster, having itself been acquired by Canada’s Bell last year.
Cardiff-based Deep Fusion, meanwhile, sold a majority stake to nascent production company John Gore Studios earlier this year.
It marked the latest in a string of acquisitions for John Gore in its first year of business, following takeovers of Hilary Bevan Jones’ Hilltop Screen, the KFilm group and gothic horror company Hammer Films.
