BBC Sport has acquired highlights rights for LaLiga.

Clips from the top division of Spanish football will be available through the BBC Sport website, app and social media channels until at least 2027.

The BBC is the latest broadcaster to pick up LaLigs rights in the UK, following several deals announced in the summer. Highlights are also available through Sky Sports, DAZN, and The Rest Is Football podcast, while Premier Sports is the home of the majority of the live rights, in addition to Disney+ showing Saturday prime time games

Director of BBC Sport Alex Kay-Jelski said: “Following the announcement of our recent deal with the Bundesliga, we’re thrilled to now bring La Liga clips to BBC Sport’s digital platforms.

“These additions strengthen our already extensive global football offering and allow us to showcase the stories, rivalries and standout talent from across Europe.

“As we look ahead to World Cup 2026, this puts us in a fantastic position to bring fans closer to the players and moments that matter - all in one place.”
