Eyeheight’s compliance legalisers have been chosen for use in broadcast coverage of next month’s Fifa World Cup in Brazil.

A total of 12 of the firm’s LE-2M channels housed in two 1RU-high chassis are now on site ready for the start of the tournament.

“The bright sunlight in Rio can create very strong highlights, which are exacerbated against shaded backgrounds cast by the stadium roof.

The LE-2M legalisers are designed to ensure that the levels of all signals arriving from on-site cameras or remote feeds are kept safely within a user-specified chroma gamut,” said Eyeheight sales director Martin Moore.
