Framestore CFC has supplied the special effects for Focus Features' new film The Constant Gardener, starring Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz. Set in Kenya, the film recounts a man's quest to expose corruption in the pharmaceutical industry after his wife is murdered. Digitally supervised by Adrian de Wet with Andrew Rawling as CG supervisor, CFC provided 35 VFX shots and created the film's Digital Intermediate. Shot in both 35mm and Super 16, colourists Adam Glasman and Asa Shoul worked on the grade using Baselight Eight, which supports real-time grading at 4K. The Constant Gardeneris in cinemas nationwide from 7 October.
