A new version of the Hamlet software based suite of video and test tools, with additional facilities for stereoscopic 3D television.

What does it do? 3D television depends on a consistent match between the two  channels if the effect is to work. By showing directly where there are discrepancies, it becomes easier to align cameras and monitor alignment issues.

How does it work? VidScope runs on a standard PC with suitable video card/s. The new version compares both ‘eyes’ of a 3D production to ensure accurate matching between the channels. It includes photo-sensitive epilepsy tests to Ofcom standards.
