Brief Use a series of elaborate rigs to help create the supernatural forces for a new three-part domestic horror series.

How it was done To simulate the telekinetic powers of the main protagonist, Artem co-founder and project supervisor Simon Tayler and his team used a range of mechanical devices and puppeteering rigs to manipulate objects.

This allowed them to make people appear to levitate and to bring entire rooms to life by rattling windows and doors.

The work also included a rupturing water tank that brings down a ceiling, exploding cartons, running taps and draws crashing open simultaneously, as well as a bonnet popping up on a speeding car. Another scene required the creation of a swirling wind to keep a plastic bag in mid-air.
