After the Flood exec becomes head of development as Davina Earl moves to newly devised role
After the Flood and Lazarus indie Quay Street Productions is boosting its senior team with a pair of appointments spanning development and production.
Fiona McAllister, who has been serving as a producer at the ITV Studios-backed indie, is upped to head of development and will lead Quay Street’s development strategy across all scripted projects.
She joined the label in 2021, bring experience as a script editor on dramas such as Coronation Street and Doctor Who, and has worked on Quay Street series After the Flood and Significant Other.

She will take up the mantle from Davina Earl, who is stepping into a newly devised executive producer role, working alongside Richard Fee as part of the senior creative team.
Having been a core member of Quay Street since its inception, Earl will oversee a slate of high-profile productions. Her recent credits include ITV1 single Men Up and BBC1’s The Guest.
“Fiona and Davina have both been instrumental to what we’ve built at Quay Street, and these appointments reflect their brilliance and the trust we all have in the,” said founder and chief exec Nicola Shindler.
Speaking of her new position, McAllister said: “I’m delighted to have the chance to carry on Davina’s brilliant work, putting writers and creatives at the heart of everything we do, pushing ambitious, bold ideas and growing the slate in exciting new directions.”
Earl added she is “delighted to be passing the baton onto her [McAllister] and look forward to focusing on my projects in development and production.”
Quay Street’s current slate includes Prime Video drama Lazarus, Run Away on Netflix and the upcoming second series of After The Flood on ITV and Tip Toe for Channel 4.
