Tektronix has sold 14 video and audio waveform monitors to Hollyoaks producer Lime Pictures.

Both the WFM7020 and WFM7120 models that have been bought are capable of dealing with HD, Dual Link and 3G.

The deal is part of an upgrade of the indie's production and post-production workflow from SD to HD, as revealed by Broadcast in February.

Hollyoaks will be produced in HD for the new C4 HD channel that launches on Sky in June.

The Liverpool producer's new HD facilities centre on a 102 Terrabyte storage area network (SAN) supplied by Data Direct Networks.

This will accommodate the 650 gigabytes of material per episode that an HD production will require. All post production will be in HD.
