Two outside broadcast trucks are among the assets of defunct broadcast graphics company Wurmsers that are to be sold next month.

Wurmsers, which was put into liquidation in December, provided GFX at live events such as Formula One, Six Nations Rugby and racing.

Landwood has now been appointed to sell the company’s assets on behalf of liquidator Bailey Ahmad.

As well as the two OB vans, two Sony DVW-500AP decks, Point-HD Telestrators, Vizrt suites of titles and render boxes, a Doremi server and a Harris Predator HD control and monitoring system are to be sold during an online auction in mid-February.

A spokeswoman at Bailey Ahmad said Wurmsers had left behind debts of about £345,000.

She said the West London-based firm, which was put into creditors’ voluntary liquidation, had suffered a gradual decline in revenue due to the loss of key contracts.
