Leeds-based production company Mezzo Films has spent more than£120,000 upgrading five suites.

Each suite will get Final Cut Pro 6 and Adobe CS3 production premium.

All the edit suites are connected to an Editshare enabling 16 simultaneous streams of HD to be worked on at any one time.

Other new kit purchases for the company include a Sony HDW-750P HD camera.

Amongst other services, Mezzo offers a full range of in-house post production facilities. These include four on-line Avid edit suites and a motion graphics department equipped with Softimage XSI, After Effects, Combustion, and Flash.
