Stereoscopic image-matching tool, with automated geometry and colour fix.

What does it do? It provides functions for correcting discrepancies between left and right images caused by differences in cameras, lenses and stereo rig systems.

How does it work? Using proprietary image-recognition technology, Equaleyes assesses the geometric errors between left and right images. This generates settings to correct positional, rotational and scale differences and ‘key-stoning’ challenges.

The first step of a colour-matching algorithm matches the majority of stereo 3D shots by creating an overall colour grade; the second executes a pixel-by-pixel match in order to repair stereo oddities such as polarised light.
