Local TV licence holder Mustard TV has opted for a NewTek TriCaster 8000 multi-camera production system.

The station will broadcast from a green screen studio and will use NewTek’s virtual sets to present a different look for each programme.

Mustard TV managing director Fiona Ryder said: “[The TriCaster] gives us the ability to create highly professional content with an affordable budget.

“It has a rich and immensely powerful toolset that is easy to use and allows us to produce high quality studio shows with fewer production personnel.

“The real time social media publishing feature of the system enables us to interact with our community of viewers in ways that previously haven’t been possible for local broadcasters.”

Mustard TV will broadcast to Norwich and the surrounding area on Freeview channel 8 from March.
