The Playhouse Disney Channel is launching new idents for its summer season, produced by in-house executive producer Annabel Phelps and director Chris Heary. Heary shot the idents outside to help capture the feeling of summer and the sense of freedom and enjoyment that pre-schoolers get from playing outside. The campaign also had to reflect the core values of the channel by featuring children combining fun and learning in a social environment. Eleven shorts have been produced: 3 x 50 seconds; 2 x 30 seconds and 6 x 15 seconds. The campaign will air on Playhouse Disney Channel from Friday (15 July).
