Brief Picture and audio post-production for the returning 3 x 60-minute drama.

How it was done For the second series, editor Johnny Rayner and director Lewis Arnold returned to Dock 10 after previously editing E4 series Banana at the facility. The audio was mixed by head of audio Mark Briscoe, whose aim was to create a gritty yet authentic soundscape. As the hand-held camera chases the action, Briscoe wanted to replicate the images with the audio to make the audience feel as though they were two steps behind the chase. In certain instances, the director Lewis Arnold flipped the perspective so that the audience viewed the scene from inside the head of Philip Glenister’s character Murdoch, and the sound played a vital role in highlighting that perspective shift.
